

Christine Ash
Care Manager
Role:
As Care Manager for Visiting Angels, Christine is responsible for effective communication with clients, family, and caregivers to help insure quality care and provide support for our clients, family and care staff. She oversees the set-up of the care schedule and supervises caregivers selected to match the client’s needs. Christine conducts regular drop-in visits to meet with clients to help monitor on-going care needs, maintain and update the established care plan, do safety checks, and assist caregivers in following the established care plan. Christine coordinates and acts as a liaison and advocate with other support agencies involved in the clients care.
Background:
Christine studied Health Sciences, Psychology, Special Education, and Life Enrichment at Monterey Peninsula College, Cabrillo College and San Jose State University. She acquired additional education and training as a California licensed Assisted Living Administrator and Activity Director. Christine also worked with special needs adults as an Activity Director Life Skills Instructor, and Art and Ceramics Teacher.
Why:
Christine was greatly influenced throughout her childhood by her Grandmother’s loving presence, patience and care. Christine gains personal enrichment from giving back in her work. She is committed to treating Seniors Citizens with dignity and respect.
Interests:
In her leisure time Christine enjoys the company of friends and family, reading, music, singing, playing the harmonica, history, current events, travel and walks with her two dogs.
