Francisca Wilhelm:
Care Manager
Role:
Francisca is responsible for maintaining close communication with both families and the Visiting Angels staff to stay proactive in the ever changing care needs of the clients under her care. She supervises the care staff assigned to her clients, and is active in the matching process to ensure that each client is assigned a caregiver that meets their individual care and personality needs. Francisca assists the Executive Director to maintain the documents for the care providers. She also makes regular home visits to support the working relationship between families and caregivers.
Background:
With a career of over ten years in the health care industry, Francisca is experienced with clients who have been affected by everything from dementia to paralysis and has gained valuable skills to act as an effective liaison between families and care staff. Her bilingual abilities have proven to be an invaluable communication resource to our multicultural families.
Why:
As a part of the Santa Catalina school family, she often volunteers in the community with her son Joshua and derives satisfaction from teaching her son the value of helping others, doing your best, keeping your promises and treating others as you would like to be treated.
Interests:
Francisca loves to work in her garden where she and her husband have created a backyard sanctuary complete with a pond full of fish, rock formations, and over five hundred plant species. She also enjoys running, cycling and spending time with her family and friends.
