Because each and every family and individual that Visiting Angels supports, approaches us with a different set of circumstances, we provide free in-home consultations to all families interested in obtaining information regarding our services.
By meeting with you, other involved family members, and especially your loved one, we are best able to assess your situation and work with you to design a personalized care program that will satisfy the needs of your loved one. This provides an opportunity for you to become more familiar with our staff and for our staff to become more acquainted with your family, establishing a personal, yet professional, and trustworthy relationship.
During the consultation we will also provide a free home safety check and offer suggestions on how to better equip your home to lower fall risks, fires, and other related dangers.
Once we have met with your family to do an initial consultation and assessment, we can initiate sourcing of a caregiver, and begin service as soon as you are ready. Once we feel we have selected an appropriate match we will schedule an introduction of the caregiver(s) to your family to confirm all involved parties consider the match is compatible.
At this time your caregiver(s) will carry on the duties described in the care plan and you will have the benefit of 24/7 case management provided by our office staff. A Communication Log will be provided and kept in the home that will allow caregiver(s) to document tasks and provide relevant information as well as a directory of services to the family.
As the needs of your family change or transition to another stage we will provide the support you need to alter the care plan to ensure you and your family are always receiving optimal care.
